The service was great. Gave this place a second try and was better than the first (food wise). Jason the manager reached out and offered me a gift card and I used it with my girls again. Still not a fan of the beer cheese or the spicy sausage for the pizza but least got to try something new. Thank you again

Walked in at 5:45. By 6:28pm our order was not ready. Could not wait, so we asked for the order to go. After 5 more minutes, we went to the kitchen area and asked for our order. One of the waitresses made a comment that it had only been 15 min. Anything to make yourself feel good about the _____ job you're doing, I suppose.

Honestly, the experience was pretty average overall 😕 The best part of the meal was definitely the meatloaf — it had decent flavor and was actually enjoyable 👍 Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were bland and not served hot enough, which was disappointing. The chicken also lacked seasoning and the portions felt way too small for the price 🍗 The cider was good though 🍺 and probably one of the few things I really liked. On top of that, the atmosphere wasn’t very relaxing because the gaming machines made the place really loud 🎰🔊 I expected much better and left feeling disappointed overall.

The drinks took about 30 minutes to get to the table, the food took an additional 20. I got the Caesar wrap and didn’t get a side because the menu said it was an extra 2.5 for the side. Turns out, it’s an extra 2.5 just to make it into a wrap. I feel like it’s pretty easy for the server to explain that. Overall the food was actually very good but the service brought that down a bit.

Attention-seeking behavior of one of the employees killed the vibe. The bartender was helpful until I had to get her attention while she was talking to the attention-seeking employee! The food was pretty damn tasty though.

One of our favorite restaurant/bar... Look on the board when you first arrive for specials. Check out the daily specials on a separate menu card.

I ate at Spartan Ale House for the first time. A friend had recommended it to me. The menu was pretty big and had plenty of options. Ordering was easy. The vegetarian at the table ordered without bacon but the food arrived with bacon. My meal was as ordered. The pulled pork was pretty good. The only thing lacking was a bit of the flavor in the pork and a bit salty in the French onion soup.

3 seperate visits/reviews about a year apart _------------------------------ 1st visit Hubby had a craving for a crispy buffalo chicken sandwich. This was the only place that said they handbreaded their chicken so we chose Spartan House. We opted for the sauce on the side to ensure the crispiness of the chicken and we're not disappointed, came with fries. When my husband was not sure he would like the beer of the day (Space Dust) Alexander brought him a sample to try first. I opted for fish n chips which were light and flakey no greasy feel to it. I chose garlic parmesan fries. I did not realize how much flavoring oil was in them untill I packed my remaining food to go and dumped the fries into my to go box where I quickly pulled out my fish so it would not get soggy due to the flavoring oil at the bottom of my fry bowl. My dish also came with soup of the day which was wild mushroom. Soup had a great flavor and I will be finishing it for lunch today. Alexander gave the best service we have had since things have opened up from covid lockdown. He is a great asset to Spartan House, he was so friendly and helpful when we were trying to decide our options. Thanks for a great meal. _----
